Missed call reporting and lead tracking
04 · Stop the Leak
Weekly reporting on calls answered, calls missed and quotes left sitting, for local service businesses in Houston, Texas.
Find the work that is already slipping out.
[ What actually happens ]
Ask most owners how many calls they missed last week and the honest answer is that they have no idea. Not because they are careless, but because nothing counts it. A missed call leaves no record anybody reads, and a quote that went quiet looks exactly like a quote that was never sent.
You cannot fix a number you have never seen. The first month of this is usually the uncomfortable one.
[ What we do about it ]
You can see where it is going instead of guessing.
- One email on a Monday: what came in, what was answered, what was missed
- What each missed caller actually wanted, not just that somebody rang
- Quotes and enquiries still sitting unanswered, listed by how long they have been sitting
- Reviews that landed, and anything that needs a reply from you

What is in the Monday email
One email, once a week. What came in, what was answered, what was missed, and what each missed caller actually wanted, which is a different thing from the fact that somebody rang. Under it, the quotes and enquiries still sitting unanswered, listed by how long they have been sitting, and any reviews that landed that need a reply from you.
The point is to catch a bad week on the Monday rather than at the end of the month. Most owners can name their busiest week and nothing else, because nothing counts the calls that did not become work.
Why the first month is uncomfortable
Ask most owners how many calls they missed last week and the honest answer is that they have no idea. Not because they are careless but because a missed call leaves no record anybody reads. A quote that went quiet looks exactly like a quote that was never sent. The first report is usually the uncomfortable one, and it is also the first time the number is real.
You cannot fix a figure you have never seen. Once it is on the page you can decide whether the answer is an answering service, faster follow up through missed call text back, or a listing that is sending you the wrong kind of caller.
How to read the first report
Look at three things before anything else. How many calls came in against how many were answered, because the gap between those two is the work walking out. Which hours the misses cluster in, because that tells you whether you need cover in the morning, the afternoon or the evening. And which quotes have been sitting longest, because the oldest silent quote is usually the cheapest job to win back.
Do not read it as a verdict on you. It is a count of what a busy owner cannot count alone, and the point of seeing it is that you can then choose what to fix first.
Honest about where it stands
The Monday report is one of the pieces that is not running yet, so the pricing page lists it under what is not running yet rather than in the plain included list. It is described here because it is part of how the package is built, not because it is live today.
What is live today, in the same Leak Stopper package at $297 a month, is the work that produces the numbers worth reporting: the listing and local SEO, the review asks and the answered calls. See the pricing page for exactly what starts when.
This is one piece of everything we do. See how it fits roofers, HVAC companies, plumbers, tree services and electricians, or look at the investment for each tier.
