Why some of it starts this week and some of it waits.
Texting your customers from a business number is not like texting from your own phone. The carriers require every business that sends automated texts to be registered first, and that registration has to be in your name, under your own EIN. It cannot be done under ours, and no provider can get around it.
So we start it for you on day one, before you have paid for a single month of texting you cannot use yet. If your business already has an established EIN, it moves quickly. If you formed the company recently, the registry takes longer to recognise it, and we will tell you which situation you are in before you commit to anything.
None of this touches the phone being answered. Answering a call needs no registration at all, which is why a business formed last week can be live on Get Answered tomorrow.

Do I have to hand over my passwords?
No. You add us to your Google Business Profile as a manager, which you can remove whenever you like, and you stay the owner of it. If you leave, the profile is still yours and still has everything we did to it.
I already get plenty of work. Why would I bother?
