[ Where the work comes from in Waco ]
Waco is in McLennan County, on the Brazos River and on I-35, roughly halfway between the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Austin. It is a university town with a long-established downtown, and it draws visitors and new residents from both of the big metros. A homeowner here searches among Waco businesses, and a company that describes itself as serving central Texas generally is hard to place.
The soil around Waco is Blackland clay, which swells and shrinks with the seasons, and homeowners see it as cracking and sticking doors. That makes plumbers and foundation-adjacent trades regular callers, and it affects the slab plumbing in older houses. Severe thunderstorms, hail and the occasional tornado warning come through, so roofing work arrives in waves.
Waco is a separate search from either big metro. The wider list is on the Texas page, and the nearest big-metro pages are Dallas and Austin.
